CPFU Membership Application
Are you a Union member?
Are you receiving Union mail?
Have you signed a Union membership card?

If you answered no to any of the above, chances are you are currently listed as a fees payer. Under Article Three of the Connecticut Police & Fire Union Constitution and By-Laws, an active member is a current NP-5 bargaining unit employee who has signed and filed with the Union a membership application. Only members shall have the right to vote on Union matters or gain access to a number of Union benefit programs. As a member, your biweekly deduction amount will not change; you will pay exactly what you have been paying as a fees payer, but will be afforded all the Union benefits.

Also, for those members whose personal information has changed within the last six months, please take the time to help CPFU update its membership database. This information is pertinent. It allows us to better serve you, the member, through letters of upcoming events such as local meetings, as well as provide invaluable information regarding contract issues and grievances. It will also allow you to receive the Union's bimonthly newsletter.

It is for these reasons that you are urged to print and fill out the membership form below and return it to the Union office: 705 North Mountain Road, Newington, CT 06111. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your steward or the Union office.
